Guest Star : Drew Powell (épisode #103)

Connu principalement pour son rôle dans Malcom, Drew Powell fait son retour à la trélévision dans riNger dans le troisième épisode de la première saison.
Son personnage est un détective basé dans les Hamptons. Il intéragit principalement avec Nestor Carbonell, l'agent Machado concernant pas mal de faits bizarres qui ont lieu lors de ce troisième épisode.
Très content de son expérience il décrit Nestor Carbonell comme un gars sympa et un bon acteur. Quant à l'ambiance sur le plateau, tout le monde est très excité comme celà peut être le cas pour une nouvelle série.
Pour l'instant rien de confirmé mais son personnage étant près de l'action il espère pouvoir devenir un rôle récurrent dans la saison.
Pour finir les secrets de riNger sont bien gardés mais ce que peut nous apprendre Drew Powell pour l'épisode dont il a fait parti c'est que certaines choses y seront révélées, et ça ce n'est que pour ses scènes.

There’s still a few weeks left until the series premiere of Sarah Michelle Gellar’s new CW drama Ringer, but the buzz is already going crazy. Drew Powell guest stars on Episode 3 — and may be back for more — so Wetpaint Entertainment thought we’d catch up with him for an exclusive insider look at the show.

Wetpaint Entertainment: What can you tell us about your episode of Ringer?
Drew Powell: I play a detective who works outside of New York and my scenes were with Nestor Carbonell (Victor Machado), who’s a great guy and a great actor. Everybody seemed to be in that good place with a new series and just getting settled in. Everybody was pretty excited about it.
Without giving too much away, I’m in the third episode of the season and I’m a cop in the Hamptons. I turn to agent Machado to try to get to the bottom of some big things that are going on in the episode.

Do you know if your character will be back or if this is a one-time deal?
My hunch is it’s going to be a recurring role, but I don’t know that for sure. They’re still writing the rest of the season. I’m where a lot of the action takes place so I’d say there’s a strong possibility, but in this business you never know.

Where in the Hamptons do your scenes take place?
I’m a cop, so they all take place in the precinct.

Are there any big surprises in this episode?
All I know is the script I have, so I couldn’t tell you the full storyline. But from what I can tell, yeah, some interesting things will be revealed.

You played Francis’s buddy, Cadet Drew, on Malcolm in the Middle. Do people still recognize you from that?
I still get some of that, yeah. Malcolm was my first gig when I got to town and I learned a lot from those guys. One of the shows I watch avidly is Breaking Bad and I worked with Bryan Cranston on Malcolm in the Middle. He was just always such a nice, gentle soul, always willing to give some advice to a newbie coming up, so I was really excited to see him doing so well. And I’m not surprised. What a great concept, what a great show.

En tout cas, j'ai vraiment hate d'être au lendemain de la diffusion de la série

je n'ai jamais vu un épisode de cette série mais si j'en croies l'interview Drew Powell jouait l'un des amis d'un des frères de Malcolm, Francis.
